TRAGEDY IN VIRGINIA AT VIRGINIA TECH UNIVERSITY
All of us have heard about the tragic event that happened at Virginia Tech University earlier this week. A single gunman shot and killed two students at 7:15a.m at the West Ambler Johnston Hall. One was a female student and the other a male student. About two or three hours later he went into Norris Hall (an engineering building), and killed 30 others, which included both students and teachers. The gunman then killed himself, making the total death count rise to 33. There have been vigils that were held at the University and there were also some televised memorials so that the rest of the nation could watch and join in the memorial for all of the students and teachers that had their lives tragically taken away.
It is very sad to know that people in the world will take away the lives of others for no reason. The lives that were taken away in this tragedy were full of hopes and dreams, but in an instant they were taken away from them. Behind them, they left families, friends, and loved ones with heavy hearts. The rest of the country was left with a heavy heart as well. Everyone is still trying to make sense out of this horrible, horrible tragedy and why someone would do this. I ask that all of you keep the entire Virginia Tech community, victims, family, friends, loved ones, and all others who were affected by this tragedy in your heart, your thoughts, and your prayers.
KLFS would like to say to all of the families, friends, loved ones, and the entire Virginia Tech community that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. We hope and pray that God will give you the strength that you need to carry on. To all of the victims of this tragedy, you will always be in the hearts of millions around the country.
